An ordinary family dinner at Golden Corral in North Little Rock, Arkansas, took a dramatic turn when Tayvia Woodfork, a 26-year-old from Mississippi, unexpectedly gave birth in the restaurant.
Tayvia, who was dining with her family, excused herself to the restroom after experiencing stomach pains. She soon discovered she was in active labor at 37 weeks due to a cryptic pregnancy—a rare condition where a woman is unaware of her pregnancy until labor starts, according to the Cleveland Clinic. In the restroom, Tayvia delivered a healthy 6-pound baby boy.
Honoring the place of his unexpected arrival, she named her son Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork.
