Ed Sheeran Superfan Forget celebrity weddings, this is a superfan’s dream come true! Amanda Baron, a die-hard Ed Sheeran Superfan, has walked down the aisle with her perfect match – Ty Jones, a man who could be Ed Sheeran’s twin.
This wasn’t your typical wedding. Amanda, a 40-year-old mental health worker, used to joke about marrying the “Thinking Out Loud” singer. Now, after two years of dating Ty, her dream took a delightful turn.
But the doppelganger fun didn’t stop there. The ceremony, dubbed the “celebrity (lookalike) wedding of the year,” featured a guest list straight out of Hollywood (well, almost). David Becekham, Prince Harry, Jack Sparrow, Gordon Ramsay, and even Keith Lemon all joined the festivities as their uncanny lookalikes.
Ed Sheeran Superfan: “The best day of my life, better than any concert”
For Ed Sheeran Superfan Amanda, this wedding was a double dose of joy. She previously named her daughter Cherry Leigh Sheeran (a nod to Ed’s wife, Cherry Seaborn). Marrying Ty solidified her connection to her musical idol, making this a true fangirl fairytale.
The ceremony itself was a resounding success. Ed Sheeran Superfan Amanda declared it “the best day of my life, better than any concert,” while Ty beamed, calling it “wonderful” and “the best ever.”
Now, the newlyweds, Mrs. and Mrs. Sheeran-alike (they hyphenated!), are off to Romania for some post-wedding relaxation. They may not have married the real Ed Sheeran, but their unique celebration proves that love, and sometimes your celebrity doppelganger, can find you in the most unexpected places.
The venue, The Venue in Ormston, was filled with Ed Sheeran vibes. The bride walked down the aisle to the romantic ballad “One Life,” and the newlyweds exited to the upbeat “I Don’t Care” after their first kiss. Even the cake featured lyrics from the Suffolk singer, etched into the frosting.
For their first dance, they chose a song by another ginger artist, James Arthur, proving they weren’t afraid to add a personal touch.
