A man from Florida Tried to Cross the Ocean in a Floating Bubble.
The U.S. Coast Guard arrested a man from Florida because he tried to travel across the ocean to London. Before the arrival of a significant storm named Hurricane Franklin on the East Coast of the United States, the Coast Guard stopped Reza Baluchi, a runner who runs marathons and comes from Iran, with at least 70 miles to the Georgia coast. Although he resisted getting out of his bubble for three days, the Coast Guard finally got him out. He made the bubble out of a giant metal ring with floaties and paddles on the outside that moved when he ran inside it. At this point, he will likely face legal problems for resisting the Coast Guard and not doing as he was told.
Beloved Manatee Hugh Died Because of Rough Play with His Brother
It has recently been reported that an unfortunate manatee named Hugh perished in an aquarium in Florida in April 2023. More shockingly, he died due to excessive roughhousing brought on by his brother Buffett. They were both playing outside, and the aquarium was not any kind of shelter from this undesirable behavior. The manatee sustained severe injuries and subsequently died. Hugh was a young calf, only 38 years old, less than half the usual age of manatees. He spent nearly 27 years in the aquarium with his brother Buffett. Manatees do misbehave, particularly when they are “more playful.” The aquarium administration claims that the two couples were just doing what they naturally do, so they were monitoring them all day long.
They spent their time trying to distract the manatees from each other. It is crucial to remember that even though Florida’s manatees are no longer on the endangered list, they are still vulnerable. Their population is waning due to the lack of food and dirty water.
New Jersey Man Arrested for Hurting a Seagull Over French Fries
A New Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly injuring a seagull. He did so because it started harassing his daughter for her French fries. Police are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
On July 6, 2024, the police went to Morey’s Piers after someone told them about the seagull. They found out that Franklin Zeigler, 29, had hurt the bird’s wing when it tried to eat his daughter’s potatoes. The man asked for a trash bag and was holding the bird. The police said he was angry and did not want to cooperate, so they arrested him.
Later, they charged him with being mean to animals when they spoke with people who saw the incident and looked at photos. He has to go to court on August 9, 2024. Sometimes, seagulls try to take people’s food, but the law protects them. There were cases in the past where people got in trouble because they were mean to seagulls. In the United States, the bird has a special law that keeps them safe.
Blue Dogs Near a Closed Russian Chemical Plant
In the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, people saw a group of bright blue dogs near an old chemical plant. The factory has been closed for six years. The blue dog pictures were posted on VK, a Russian social media website. People were worried and wanted to find out why the dogs are blue.
The dogs could have gotten blue from copper sulfate, a chemical made at the factory. They used it to make plexiglass and hydrocyanic acid. Under Russian law,Andrey Mislivets, who is in charge of this closed factory’s bankruptcy, thinks the dogs found some leftover chemicals and rolled in them. He says he doesn’t have the money to find the dogs and look after their health.
The city plans to find the blue dogs and check if they are okay. They do not think the dogs are in danger, but animal rights activists are still worried, even though they are not sure what the blue color means.
Several blue dogs have been captured and checked by vets. They appear to be fine. However, it is still unknown why they are blue. In addition, two of the blue dogs have been adopted due to their color. It’s one of the most strange news around the world
Art Student Eats $120,000 Banana Artwork
A South Korean art student, Noh Huyn-soo, was visiting the Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul when he decided to eat a piece of art because he was hungry. The art was a banana that was taped to the wall —a work by Maurizio Cattelan entitled “Comedian. ” The piece of art is worth nearly one hundred twenty-thousand dollars.
The museum did not get mad at Noh. They simply replaced the eaten banana with another one—a piece of art that they usually change every two or three days. Moreover, the museum will not ask Noh to pay for the piece or sue him. The artist, Cattelan, claims that he knows that his works are amusing and doesn’t mind when they are getting eaten.
Noh is not the first person to eat banana art. In 2019, an artist did the same thing at an art show in Miami. Cattelan’s art always mocks the popular culture and gets people to think.
Noh adds that one might think that eating the art can be seen as its own art. For one thing, bananas have been selling for a lot of money at the auction. However, most people think this concept of a piece of art is hilarious. Many people were puzzled about how it was considered art and sold for so much.
