Ten years later, this very tall guy appears in a hospital far from where he vanished, dusty and wearing old clothes. He tells the receptionist his name and that he’s been “dead” for ten years. That’s the last thing he ever said out loud. His family didn’t believe it was him and didn’t want anything to do with the situation.
This man, Marion, would walk around all day and sometimes throw his head back like he was laughing, but no sound came out. No medicine or therapy helped him. On my last day at that job, I saw him doing the same thing, and I’ve always wondered if maybe he was a ghost.
The Unrest Stop
When I was younger, my mom, sister, and I drove late at night and stopped at a rest area to get gas and use the restroom. Something felt off right away. A group of teenagers left quickly because they were freaked out, and two guys were standing by a car who didn’t move at all. They were completely still and silent.

It Was Good to See an Old Friend

As soon as we left the graveyard, our phones worked again. I’m sure something was out there, and it wasn’t an animal or a person.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
When we moved into our new house, we learned that a woman who hated men had died there because of her abusive husband. My dad would wake up with scratches, and my brother would get scratched if he was mean to me or my sister. One time, after hurting our sister, my brother woke up with a bloody nose.
On the day we left the house, my brother broke his arm doing a wrestling move, and I felt like something terrible would have happened if we hadn’t moved out.
My mother attracted evil
After my parents split up, I lived with my mom, and weird things happened. Sometimes, my room would get really cold, and I’d feel like someone who didn’t like me was watching me. I’d have to leave the room and come back later. During the day, I’d see shadows moving along the walls.
It seemed like something was pretending to be my dog. Once, I heard a deep growl from under my bed that my dog couldn’t make. Other times, my dog seemed scared and wouldn’t come to me. When I moved in with my dad, all the spooky stuff stopped.
The demon’s room
I was a forensic nurse in a hospital unit where one older lady claimed a demon named Tiberius was haunting her. Strange things happened around her. She’d be fine one moment, and the next, she’d look like she’d been beaten up, with no one seeing how it happened. Objects moved independently, even when she was restrained and couldn’t hurt herself or move things. After she left, weird incidents still occurred in that room, like emergency codes and flickering lights.

Evicted by a ghost
Right after college, my wife and I moved into a basement apartment haunted by a poltergeist. The poltergeist threw dishes and hit my wife. We always felt watched, and sometimes, bright flashes of light would fill the room at night.
One evening, a voice told us to move out. We listened and left two days later, staying with relatives. The landlord passed away shortly after, and the house was demolished. Now, it’s just an empty lot that I pass by sometimes.
The Death March
My dad was a corrections officer patrolling a prison’s perimeter. While parked on a hill one night, he felt a thumping inside him like loud bass music. Looking in the mirror, he saw Native Americans walking through his truck and disappearing where he sat. They looked like ghosts, some injured. This lasted a few seconds before they vanished.
