Mythical creature
Something weird has been going on in the UK, as apparently a mythical creature has been running riot in the county of Lincolnshire. Could it be real? According to Lee Solway, who hosts the Realm of the Supernatural podcast, for the last 300 years there have been rumored sightings of a dog or wolf-like beast in the area
Back in 1995 was one of the most unsettling incidents, as a security guard at a caravan park saw what he thought looked like a werewolf, and told a local official to come down and inspect. Residents in the area had seen the creature too, and encouraged him to run away fast.
The security guard was so spooked by the encounter that he didn’t return to work, and he wouldn’t be the first or last person seriously freaked out. The dogman allegedly is around seven foot tall, with blue or amber eyes, and a body that is part human – presumably the animal spotted in Lincolnshire didn’t quite fit this descripton, but we can’t be sure.
Dogman
Could it be the dogman? The beast has also been spotted in the US – two years ago, an animal was shot and killed in Montana, but nobody could identify the creature. According to scientists, it didn’t fit the characteristics of a wolf, while in the UK people were more surprised and unsettled, as wild wolves no longer inhabit the country.
One explanation given by naysayers is that the dogman doesn’t actually exist, and is imagined by people who are “on drugs”. However, Lee Solway says that “they’d be some very good drugs”, doubling down on his claims that the creature exists. It seems as if it wouldn’t be out of place in a video game instead of real life, but stranger things have previously happened.
Last year, it was thought that scientists may have found out more about fellow mythical creature the Loch Ness monster, but no concrete evidence has been brought to the table. The jury’s still out on the legibility of the dogman, but regardless of your views on the matter, you can share them with us here.
