A financial advice website, FinanceBuzz, is creating buzz by offering a lucrative opportunity for Star Wars newcomers. In celebration of the upcoming Star Wars Day, also known as May the Fourth, the website is seeking an individual who has never seen any of the Star Wars movies to watch all nine films in the Skywalker saga and earn $1,000 in the process.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role as a “Wookiee Rookie,” providing a fresh and unbiased perspective on the iconic franchise. FinanceBuzz aims to use the outsider’s viewpoint to create an insightful analysis of the saga, which will be featured in an upcoming story.
FinanceBuzz’s Search for a Star Wars Newbie
The viewing experience will follow the chronological order of the films’ release, starting with “Episode IV: A New Hope” and concluding with “Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.”
However, there’s a twist. FinanceBuzz has decided to skip “Episode I: The Phantom Menace” in the viewing order, offering a playful challenge to those wondering about this decision.
In addition to the $1,000 payment for watching the films, the chosen candidate will receive $100 towards the cost of streaming the movies.
Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to see “Episode I: The Phantom Menace” in theaters for its upcoming 25th-anniversary re-release, with expenses covered by FinanceBuzz.
FinanceBuzz website is currently accepting applications for this unique Star Wars “side-hustle. The deadline for submissions is the end of May 4th, giving Star Wars newcomers a chance to embark on an exciting cinematic journey and earn some extra cash along the way.
May the Force (and the cash) be with them! What do you think of the challenge? Comment and let us know.
