MacDill Air Force Base Handles Unusual Wildlife Incident
The incident, which occurred on a typical Monday, prompted a swift response from base personnel, who immediately contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for assistance.
Upon arrival at MacDill Air Force Base, FWC officials assessed the situation and quickly formulated a plan to safely relocate the gator. With expertise and caution, the alligator was carefully captured and transported to a more suitable environment, the nearby Hillsborough River.
