Vacation
I know I do. As soon as I’m back from one trip, I start planning another.
Next up on my plate: a two-month nomadic quest across Europe. I’ll be starting out in Paris, finishing up in Lisbon, and I plan on “finding myself” somewhere in between. I predict I’ll be hiding at a park picnic in Berlin, or at the bottom of a glass of bubbly in Champagne.
I’ve spent the last several months prepping for my micro Eat Pray Love mission, from Airbnb browsing to shopping for the perfect beret. Now that I’ve entered the final stretch (one week to go!), the stress is building.
With hostels booked and train tickets bought, it’s time to make sure I look just as ready as I feel. Sharing adventures on Instagram is half the fun, and I need to be camera-ready for all the #wanderlust pics I plan on posting.
And let me tell you, it’s been quite the cosmetic process. I’ve been busy getting my nails polished, my bangs trimmed, my hairs waxed…and now it’s time to get my skin glowing.
It’s been a rough winter, and my pasty limbs are in desperate need of a boost in confidence. I’ve never been big on self-tanners. Or rather, I’ve never been keen on channeling Garfield (yes, the cat). The whole striped orange thing doesn’t exactly pair well with the “effortless French girl” look I’m after. But Jergens® Natural Glow® Daily Moisturizer seems vacation like a promising solution to my problem. All I have to do is swap my post-shower body lotion for totally natural-looking, sun-kissed colour. Sounds easy enough.
With just seven days to go before I jet off, I’m banking on Jergens® Moisturizers to get me ready and glowing. Here’s hoping the product delivers, so my bare legs don’t blind all the cute European boys I plan on meeting.
