The residents of Wales were left to surprise last week when they saw the mountain goats roaming on the streets. Due to the lockdown after a pandemic attack, people are limited only to their homes and are not allowed to out except extreme emergency.
After Wales, mountain goats were also seen on the beach walkaway in Israel.
Welsh are practicing social distancing and the roads are empty with just police mobiles moving to keep people in their homes. However, it was the town of Llandudno in which mountain goats were seen several times last week defying all orders of social distancing.
People from the town are surprised to see these animals on the streets, around their homes and are posting their pictures on social media. These goats usually live near the sea on a big headland that is called the Great Orme. When it is windy on the top, they come down to the back of the streets at the top of Mostyn Street. However, this time they saw the roads are empty and there is no one to stop them, so they started to explore the town.
These goats are scared of humans and hesitate from coming in contact. Therefore, they never came inside the town. However, this time they are moving carelessly in the town because there is no one to scare them.
People of the town reported that the mountain goats are wandering in the streets, climbing the stone walls and coming inside the small gardens outside homes. They are freely eating plants that were finely trimmed by the residents and are spoiling local gardens.
When they were spotted for the first time, the residents called the local police. Policemen chased and bring them back towards the Orme but the next day, goats came back to the town. They are gathering in a group of 2 or more and are not scared of advancing as much ahead as they can.
Remember that there is a public lockdown in many European states and there are no public, cars, rush, tourists or any human presence on the roads. Due to it, many cities are getting back their natural looks while the polluted rivers are getting cleaned because there is no one to contaminate them.
