A woman named Joyce Fedd made an alarming discovery at McDonald’s drive-thru in Jacksonville, Florida in which she intended to pick up a sandwich after a long day at work.
She ordered 2 chicken sandwiches for her 2 kids and decided to bite on one and she said in her statement; “I tasted something that doesn’t taste like my previous sandwiches and took it out of my mouth and it had a purple worm in it and another worm.
The owner of the McDonald’s quickly issued a response to the incident.”
The owner in his own statement said “We take food safety very important and the incident which occurred was really unusual. When the customer issued the complaint, we refunded her money and gave her a free sandwich but she refused the sandwich, well I don’t blame her. We quickly reviewed the entire kitchen to ensure this type of incident doesn’t occur ever again.
Jim Van Laere the owner and operator apologized to the entire public for this occurrence and we promise it never happens again. He also said that the chicken didn’t come from them but from an independent distributor.
“There is no telling what else is in those sandwiches because if it came from shipping then it is not just one sandwich” said Mrs Fedd.
Fedd said she is hiring an attorney because of course she must because it could have been worse, it could have been hamburger and she could have given her children and she is never eating fast food again.
