1. Dakota Johnson, Fifty Shades of Grey

Even if you’ve never washed Fifty Shades of Grey, you’ve probably heard a lot about it. Sex, sex, and more sex. Leading lady Dakota Johnson admitted that she suffered from whiplash when co-star Jamie Dornan threw her onto the bed.

“So f*cking painful,” she told The Mirror.

With all that they’ve been through, we’re surprised that’s all she suffered.

2. Kristen Bell, House of Lies

Kristen Bell was glowing at seven months of pregnancy, and she was also filming House of Lies with Adam Brody.

“It was very, very, very awkward for, I would say, about five minutes,” Brody said. “Then it was awkward in how normal it was. We were sandwiching her child in-between our stomachs.”

Well, sex during pregnancy is quite normal, Mr. Brody.

3. Jesse Metcalfe, Desperate Housewives

Who could forgot the steamy affair between Gabby Solis and her much younger gardener on Desperate Housewives? Well, Jesse Metcalfe couldn’t.

The young actor shared just how excited he got to film one particular scene with Eva Longoria.

“As a matter of fact, in the first scene we ever had, where Gabriella and John first had sex, we were rehearsing and then the director was like, ‘OK, get out of bed, we have to reset the set,’ Metcalfe said in an interview with radio station 106.5 Sacramento. “And I was like, ‘I need a minute.”

Need a minute to what, Mr. Metcalfe?

4. Henry Cavill, The Tudors

Now famous for his role as Superman, Henry Cavill once starred in Showtime’s historical fiction TV series, The Tudors.

As 1st Duke of Suffolk, Cavill found himself in an interesting situation.

“A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my – stuff into a harmless position, “Cavill said in an interview with Men’s Health. “She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard.”

“I had to apologize profusely afterward. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it?”

While filming the hit comedy Bridesmaids, Jon Hamm felt like he would crush Kristen Wiig, his tiny costar.

“I am not a small human being. I weigh at least 200 pounds and I’m six-foot-two. And Wiig is a twig; she’s a skinny little thing,” he said.

Hamm reportedly told Wiig to punch him in the side if he was hurting her. We have to admit, we were a bit worried while watching that opening scene, too.

7. Margot Robbie, The Wolf of Wall Street

Leave it up to a real lady to put a man in his place. While filming a scene with Leonardo DiCaprio for The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie pushed Leo’s head out of the way because he was in her light.

“He was so incredulous that I had told him to get out of my light, and physically moved him out of the way, he was like, ‘Did you really just do that?'”

But don’t get mixed up by this incident. The move was purely business and for the sake of the scene. Robbie describes DiCaprio as one of her favorite actors.

8. Ryan Reynolds, The Change-Up

While on The Tonight Show, Ryan Reynolds shared about his steamy scene with Olivia Wilde for The Change-Up. The takeaway? He accidentally removed her smiley faced pasties, and her forgets his lines.

“In the scene, she’s sitting there and I take her top off and the bra off, and she has those pasties on, but she’s drawn these adorable little smiley faces on them.”

“And I forget every line in the scene – not just from this movie but from every other movie I’ve done,” he continued.

“At some point in the scene she takes my hands and puts them on her breasts. I take my hands away and I look down at my hands and there’s two frickin’ smiley faces on them and I have no idea what to do. And I reflexively, like an idiot, just put my hands right back on her breasts!”

Anne Hathaway has built a resume of strength, confidence, and experience, from Princess Diaries to now, but she still has her moments.

While rehearsing a scene with Jake Gyllenhaal for Love and Other Drugs, she thought they were actually filming. She had to remove her trench coat, revealing nothing but her naked body.

“I thought we were filming, but it turned out we were just rehearsing and I got unnecessarily naked in front of a lot of people!” she revealed to Hollywood Life.

10. Lizzy Caplan, True Blood

It’s been a while since Lizzy Caplan starred as Janice in Mean Girls, but she has had other great roles. If you’re a fan of True Blood, you’ve seen her star as Amy Burley.

To calm her nerves for the first sex scene, she got wasted.

“It was like 7 am in the morning and I was chugging vodka completely naked while a make-up artist I had just met was on her knees in front of me sponging my ass,” Caplan shared on Chelsea Lately.

The shot went well, but afterwards, she went up to several different crew members and pointed out their boners. She had only just met them the day before.

11. Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Superbad

When Christopher Mintz-Plasse starred as McLovin in Superbad, he was only 17. That’s why his mom had to be on set when he filmed a sex scene.

“It was because I was 17,” he said in an interview with GQ. “Stupid law. I was just sitting there with my boxers on, waiting for my mom to drive down to the set. She got there, and I had fake sexual intercourse in front of her.”

12. Emilia Clark, Game of Thrones

You’ve seen everything of Thrones, but you’ve never guessed this. Sometimes, actors will wear socks to cover their private parts while filming intimate scenes.

Emilia Clarke burst into laughter when her co-star Jason Momoa used a bright pink sock for the occasion.
